Detailed Official Notification & Guidelines

HOW TO APPLY FOR RRB NTPC GRADUATE 2026 (CEN 06/2026)

Applications opened on 8 October and close on 6 November 2026 at 11:59 PM. The early indicative notice showed 3,477 posts; the detailed CEN raised the total to 3,548. You can apply to only ONE RRB, and your RRB choice and Create-an-Account details can't be changed later.

  1. Open rrbapply.gov.in and click the CEN 06/2026 – NTPC Graduate link.
  2. Create an account with your own mobile number and email, or log in if you already have an RRB account from an earlier notice. These details can't be edited afterwards.
  3. Verify your identity with Aadhaar or DigiLocker. It is strongly recommended and makes later checks easier.
  4. Enter your name, parents' names and date of birth exactly as on your Class 10 certificate.
  5. Choose your RRB, then rank the posts and zones you are eligible for. A post you skip counts as "not interested".
  6. Choose your exam language.
  7. Capture your photograph live on the portal (plain white background, no cap, mask or glasses, eyes open). You don't upload a photo file.
  8. Upload your signature: black ink on white paper, running handwriting, JPG/JPEG, 30–49 KB, at least 140 × 60 pixels, scanned at 100 DPI or more. SC/ST candidates who want the free railway pass upload their certificate as a PDF.
  9. Pay the fee by 8 November through net banking, debit/credit card or UPI, and save the confirmation. An application without the fee is rejected.
  10. Corrections run from 9 to 18 November at ₹250 per correction. Your RRB and account details stay locked.

WHO CAN APPLY

You need a degree from a recognised university (or equivalent) on or before 6 November 2026. Final-year students waiting for results can't apply. Age must be 18–33 on 1 January 2027, so UR/EWS candidates must be born between 2 January 1994 and 1 January 2009 (OBC-NCL from 2 January 1991, SC/ST from 2 January 1989). 12th-pass candidates should apply under the Undergraduate notice: [RRB NTPC Undergraduate (CEN 07/2026) 1,688 Posts](/rrb-ntpc-ug-recruitment-2026-cen-07-2026).

EYESIGHT: CHECK THIS BEFORE YOU RANK GOODS TRAIN MANAGER

Goods Train Manager has 2,750 of the 3,548 posts, but it carries the strictest standard, A-2: distant vision 6/9 and 6/9 and near vision Sn 0.6 without glasses, plus colour, binocular, night and myopic vision tests. LASIK or similar eye surgery makes you ineligible for A-2 posts. Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor is B-2 and the two clerk-level posts are C-2, which are more flexible. Fail the medical for a post and you are not offered another, so rank only posts you can pass.
